Theatre Scholarship

Awarded to students with talents in theatre – both for those who intend to major or minor in theatre and for those who do not intend to major or minor in theatre. A limited number of awards are available each year and may amount up to $4,000 annually for each recipient. To be considered as a candidate, applicants must have a live audition or portfolio presentation and interview with Theatre faculty in the early spring of their senior year. This award is renewable each year with the endorsement of the theatre department stipulating a student has met satisfactory performance expectations.

Students interested in the Theatre scholarship will need to audition, presenting two monologues of contrasting styles, more more than two minutes long. Those interested in technical theatre and design will be interviewed and asked to furnish a portfolio of their work.

Must be a senior in high school or transfer student to apply for this scholarship.
